• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Everones favorite

Go to the Thousand Islands Bridge, then Wellesly Island, then make a stop in Alexandria Bay. NY and check out the islands. After that, make a loop around Lake Ontario, following the shoreline.
My personal favorite area is about 20 miles south of me, and covers most of southern Indiana, starting in Brown County.

I just googled the distance between you and I and it's about 1 hr. Once spring comes I definitely want to meet up and take a tour. I typically do not work during the week and only 2 weekends a month. So, I guess there shouldn't be a problem finding the time. I'd like to have Bob D. come along and also take us to his neck of the woods; but, I think Bob's work schedule is kind of tight.:dontknow:

When the weather improves next summer take Highway 8 up over the Dundas Mountain turn right on Highway 5 and left on Highway 6 and stay on 6 all the way through the Bruce Peninsula to Tobermory. Then take the ferry across Georgian Bay to Manitoulin Island. Tour the island and then go north to Espanola where you pickup Highway 17.

Go west on 17 to Thunder Bay, passing through Massey, Blind River (Neil Young wrote a song there), Thessalon, White River, Terrace Bay and Nipigon. Then take Highway 61 south along the top of Lake Superior to DuLuth, Minnesota. There are several routes you can take to come back along the south shore of Superior, ending up in St. Ignace, Michigan. Follow the west shore of Lake Michigan south and cross back to Canada at Sarnia and then home to Dundas.

Now that would be a heck of a trip. I did it in 1972 on a Honda 350. Should be a lot more comfortable on a Spyder.

we did something very similar...except when we got to Nipigon...we turned left and ended up near Watertown, NY....Lake Nipigon is in the Artic Shed...beautiful
