Events held during the week???

So it's been raining here for 4 consecutive days and supposed to rain tomorrow and clear up for the weekend so I thought maybe I could sneak out of work mid. morning Friday and make the 450 mile ride to spyder fest. But it looks like the event is done Saturday by 6 pm. Don't know if it'd be worth attending for half a day:dontknow: Dumb question but... Why are these events held during the week? Starts Wednesday ends Saturday. I see the owners event in Durango is Thursday and Friday also.

Hard to say..!!

programing I would guess. Getting folks there and back with time to do it all. Adding that many to the weekend crowds would be nightmarish. Yet for what it is and the disruption to the location they are held at it would make sense to make it a long weekend running like Friday to Monday. You have to have the time and the locations make a killing...jmo..hyea:
