ESI's GEN2 Magic Brake Light

I'm just curious before I purchase...there are 10 different strobe settings; just wondering if anyone has the GEN 2 and what setting they are using. I just noticed it today on the ESI site. Since I haven't purchased anything for the spyder this winter I've decided on this.

Hopefully this will keep those behind me awake when stopping.

Lamont was trying the Brake Strobe for the RT, which is not available yet. I just ordered the one for the GS/RS. If you go to Custom Dynamics' site, they show all 10 settings in a video.

Based on the response so far, it looks like no one else may have the GS/RS strobe brake lights. One thing to keep in mind, if interested, is that all settings can be used with LEDs and I believe at least 4 settings can be used with regular bulbs.

I have the original version on my RTS and I like it a lot. I did not see where the Gen 2 was on the site.

When I originally posted this thread I thought this (GEN2) was developed by ESI. I received a PM from a member that mentioned Custom Dynamics. My mistake.

That's the same thing I have on my RT. They have been selling them for the RS for some time now. It's pretty cool. I mounted mine inside my trunk so I can change the strobes when I feel like it. :doorag:

Hi Lamont. Was at the Custom Dynamics site and they say RT strobe not available yet ? Anyhow with your strobe and the trailer hooked up does it do all the brake lights to ? ( Trailer, HMT )

I haven't checked the trailer but it pretty much has to. I'll check when I have help.
Call CD, I think they are ready to release them for the RT.
