• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

engine miles on Spydie

Was wondering who has the most original miles on a single engine and what the expected life span of this engine is?
Of the higher miles, what items needed major repairs?
Thanks

I am almost 100% sure it is Doc.

He's got to be in the 90K to 100K mile range by now.

Is doing so well with the Aerocharge Turbo that I'm going to run the Salt Flats in 10 days! Life span: at least twice (88Kx2). What items needed major repairs? Mainshaft...:gaah:

Awe come on... You left out all the pulleys that shaft ate. By now you must be on the buy 3 get 1 free plan.

Not the pulley's fault if the main shaft they'er mated to is stripped.

It's the way Doc babies his Spyder that makes for such longevity...

If the pulley is the only major thing that went in 100 k, then I am all set.
Mine went at 27 k, I can coast to 100k:D
Actually when my pulley went, I was coasting then as well:dontknow:
