• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hi,
Two days ago i did go for a ride on my spider, and after a few hours the engine management fault light came on. Also check engine message came up.At the same time i lost power and was only able to go up to 4 th gear and did have trouble moving from full stop.Turning the engine of and taken the key out and then start again,(as in the manual) made the light go out but came back on after 2 km.Next morning turned the key no fault light ,no check engine message .Started, no trouble rode away and every thing was ok .Plenty of power as before. Has this happend to any one before? Please help me out i do get worried.

I think my did the same except:

Few days before they had it, ran a test on the computer because the Spyder acted funny and the check enginee light came on. After the dealer put the computer on it
2 Codes came up Low Engine Current, and next was O2 sensor functioning. They checked everything From Regulators, fuses, and battery. couldn't come up what was wrong. The next day when all my problems came out.

The first try of starting it turned over once and didn't start, then at one point it wouldn't even turn over. Hour later went back out to retry the computer LCD didn't come on but it started and stuck in Reverse. Call the tow truck, took it to the Orange Park Powersport. The shop bent over backwards for me to get me up and running I gave them A+++++. Fixed it in one days and that included having parts shipped "because I had a ride this morning." Great guys they were!

This is what the warranty work done:

Angle rotation sensor Replaced
Regulator Spring, HCM Oil Presure, TCM update, Angle posistion
Replace all relays

And then I pay for the Premium Decal Kit LOOKS REALLY GOOD!

I got it back Friday and today I am taking it out to A rally ride.

Before you go much further, check the battery for a full charge, and make sure the battery connections are clean. The actual connections under the body, not the jumper terminals under the seat. You also might want to swap out the main relay. These steps will eliminate the easy causes of these multiple warnings. Beyond that, get it to a dealer for diagnostics. Other causes have been reported, and are not as simple to remedy.
