• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had a CANBUS failure - anyone else have experience with this?

I had the check engine light pop on and then go off after a few miles. Took it in and it came back as a CANBUS failure.... or hiccup. They said if it did go, I would lose my dashboard. Anybody else have any experience with this? This is on a 2018 RT Ltd. with just over 30k miles.

It happens. Anything can go bad. But I'd make sure my battery and battery connections were good before I started throwing money at an ECU code.

Concur with Ron. You want this transient to be battery related. If your battery is 3+ years old, replace it. Be sure to charge it overnight before installation.

If it isn't the battery, the 2018s have a problematic LHS Module/handgrip, which is a CANBUS node. Replacement is somewhat expensive.
