• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Engine coolant temperature gauge light

You'll need to pop that panel loose, that holds the temperature and fuel gauges.
Once you've got it loose; it'll take some creative wiggling, and handlebar turning, but it'll come.
You'll then be able to get to the back of the panel, and the wires that go to the gauges.
Beyond that: you're on your own. I never took a light out! :opps:

I have a feeling that you can not just replace the bulb but you have to replace the entire gauge. I don't see it listed separately in the parts lists.

What you can do is disconnect both the fuel and temperature gauges and you will get them on the center display as stacked bar graphs instead. You can then replace the analog gauges with something else, like voltmeters and USB ports.

Gauge bulb replacement

Both gauges on the RTS have LED bulbs for back lighting. Once you access the rear of the gauge(s), twist to left and lift it out. NOW, can anybody tell me where to buy these. I saw them once somewhere for under 6 dollars, but for the life of me I cannot remember where. Maybe the dealer is the way to go.

:welcome:
Did you happen to remove one of those LED bulbs?
A picture of one of them (Emphasis on the base...), would be ReAlLy useful!

LED backlight for spyder fuel and temp

I did not take a picture of the LED. It consists of a LED and resistor. Remember cars with instrument panels that you could get behind and twist out bad idiot lights? Same kind of mount. I/2 turn and it pops right out. Did find them at the local Can Am dealer, but they didn't have any in stock so it's back ordered. Price $5.95.
