So I'm getting a new set of shocks, and I think, I really should have something, someway, of actually measuring the change. Not just seat of the pants, not just "I normally can ride this one road/corner/whatever at this speed or time or whatever.
Does anyone actually use some sort of Data Logger mounted to a Spyder before and after upgrades to empirically measure(?) the change?
Besides our personal impressions, how do we really know what the product change provided.
I know that when I switched from Kenda's to Federal Formoza's my fitbit registered FAR fewer "steps" while I am riding the Spyder and the tires were the only change. So, smoother ride, but I didn't really measure that empirically.
Does ANYONE use a VBOX performance data logger or some smartphone like app to measure the differences?
Just asking,
