• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Email suggestions?

I've been with yahoo quite a while, and in the last year, it seems like the legit to spam ratio is about 1 to 40. Any ideas on a cleaner provider?

thanks

Create a new account. I think Yahoo allows 10. Most of the spam is based on your browsing history. Use one ID for communicating with friends, ect, use the other one for looking at travel guides, hotel rooms and airline prices. You will be amazed at the amount of spam the second one gets.
Not sure what triggered all the Viagra adds. Maybe because I looked at a dating site. (Or input from old girl friend,no sense of humor)

google

Specifically Google Apps for Business if you really want spam control and even your own domain name and cloud sharing services.

Have had our company domain and email and other services hosted by Google for 6 yrs now and could not be more pleased with the continuing improving tools and capabilities. Up time has been terrific and its well integrated with our android devices as well.

If you want a free option, suggest a basic gmail account. Still pretty good filtering that learns you but with a gmail domain, more limited choices of address and little in cloud sharing features.

I use Google here...
But just about the most basic version that I can... :D

They send :cus: to me; I create a filter for it!
So far; I probably have at least 274.903,650 filters in place....
It dumps everything into the trash!

Thanks,

Yahoo had a way of blocking addresses with a couple of clicks, but some genius decided to do away with it, and the spam filters they allow seem to block more legit mail than spam. I'll be trying these suggestions, hope to find something soon.
