There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Stage 5 shocks have a reservoir attached to the shocks to keep the shock oil cooler during more spirited and demanding riding, as well as offering high and Low speed compression adjustment, ( and rebound ajustment like the Stage 1+) to allow you control how the shocks are going to absorb the bumps.
The high speed compression is to control high velocity bumps likes potholes, cracks, rocks etc, and the low speed allows you to control things like weight transfer, front end diving when braking, undulations and elevation changes on the road. They both work independantly of each other to optimise tuning. ( Red knob is low speed, black is high speed.)
The Stage 5 shock bodies are also made of aluminum and weight less that the Stage 1+ which are zinc plated steel bodies.
