elka shocks

Hi all:
I've read that the Elkas will raise the front end of the machine a bit. Question is, will this cause any alignment-toe in or camber problems? In other words, do we need an alignment after these shocks are intalled? Any info is greatly appreciated Thanks one and all.

Front shocks changed out to Elkas will have no affect on alignment but more than likely you will need to adjust your headlight alignment. Elkas will raise the front end slightly which will cause your headlight beam to be too high. After my Elkas were installed other riders ahead of me complained about me flashing my headlights. All is good again after the adjustment. :thumbup:

:agree: with above. No alignment issues but I did have Cowtown adjust the headlights. Love my Elkas.

No alignment issues but it raised the front end a lot. I just added a better sway bar and lowered it back down, Before you make anty changes mark a line on a wall where the head lights are set. Now you can reset your lights easily.

Guys I'm just days away from the new bracket that works to relocate the front shocks which will slightly lower your front ends back down and help give you an even better ride. We have been working on a billet bracket for several months now, ,and it's going to packaging. We will have it on spyderelkadirect.com
it require no drilling and a direct Bolt on.
