• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like to have my I-Phone 4 pluged into the radio while it's mounted up front at handle bar location. Presently, I have installed a 3.5mm stereo recptical in the switch bank that is wired into the rear compartment. This allows me to hear my i-phone (like an I-pad) through the radio while having it up front. Problem is, I also have to have the I-Phone plugged into my new 12V recptical at the same time to keep it charged. Wondering if I purchase the BRP GPS recptical for the front, use the RT-S provided pig tail, will the pig tail plug into this GPS recptical. If so, it would provide me with the radio connection and keek the phone charged. Wondering if someone out there with a factory GPS and a I-Phone could see if the pig tail will plug into GPS recptical and work.:dontknow:

I am quite sure from the pictures, the GPS cord is the 3.5mm cord and that will not charge your iPhone. The power cord for the BRP GPS is not the same as the iPhone. Can't understand BRP going to the trouble of offering a $150 handle bar mount and then make us run a cord all the way to the trunk. PLEASE give us up front connections or better yet bluetooth!!
:dontknow:

Does an iPhone accept a standar iPod connecor cable? If so, why not buy an iPod extension cable, and run it to the Standard iPod connection in the rear trunk That way you will get both the charging and the audio hookup.
