• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Electrical conundrum.

Oh God......fish and chips....haven't had that in too bloody many years.....fish and four pennorth was a great meal...especially with News of the World wrappin'.
I used to collect my street's newspapers and take them to the chippee at the corner....Middlesbrough, Bedford, Poole.
Good memories.

Nothing wrong with the quality of your memories, Friend, but if you tried to buy a fourpenny portion today you'd be laughed out of the not so humble chippee! Fish 'n chips are a tad more up-market these days and have to compete for business with the universal pizza, the Italian kid on the block. The News of the World has come to an ignominious end under Murdock Junior's stewardship and British food inspectors finally realised there were serious hygiene questions over eating food out of 2nd-hand newspapers. (Doesn't stand thinking about too deeply, does it? Yuk!) Aside from having over-fished cod in the North Sea to extinction, the law and general food inflation has caught up with the humble back-street fish 'n chip emporium, as fond in both our memories as some of the old 'uns still are. :(

You just never know.

There you go all. Came into this trying to figure out how to fix an electrical problem and leave with problem solved and the unsavory knowledge that Brits wrap their food in old newspaper. You just never know where a thread can lead or the useful knowledge that can be gained. :roflblack::roflblack::yikes:
