• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Electric Spyder?

Would like to see some solar charging back up integrated with it some how. (Trips)Not some specialty charger where you are stuck with only 1way.

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS

Well, if it gets 106 miles on a charge, and the charging stations are 500 miles apart, that means you only have to push it 394 miles. Not too bad, I guess.

Nice...

But it is all in the makings..I think it keeps the EPA folks happy. Many of you have the eco system...how well is that working out for you..?? I do like the green and white Hybrid...at least the color combo...

There are electric bikes out there now, that have ranges that are over 190 miles.
When these bikes can travel that far on a charge; I'll start getting interested in them. :D

What are you going to do at 190 miles? Even if they can charge on 110v, that will mean at least an overnight stay.

It's gonna take you a long time to get to Spyderfest with one of those.

The range of the bikes is the first part of the equation... :D
Tesla has a good idea for swapping out batteries along the way... but it's going to take a lot of infrastructure, to solve part two. nojoke

Hi Bob,

Re: ... but it's going to take a lot of infrastructure

When automobiles first appeared on the roads in the USA, the owners went down to the local pharmacy to buy gasoline. They brought it home & poured into their cars.

Yup! My Grampa Denman told me stories about that.
Now if I could get my Doctor to write me a prescription for it: do you think that that my medical insurance would pay??? :D :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
