• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Electric Cruise Control

I know alot of you are using MCCruise and I agree it is probably the best. However has any installed a electronic cruise that does not use vacuum ? I've been looking into this it appears audiovox has a electronic unit sells around $200 would this work?? Along with this could a RS be converted to electronic throttle control?? What are my options I'd prefer to stay away from vacuum cause a serious cam mod may be in my future and I would loose alot of vacuum from that mod.:dontknow::dontknow:

Electronic throttle control on an RS would require severe ECM programming modifications, along with the wiring and extra components. Not saying it isn't possible, but it sure would be more of a project than I would want to tackle. I doubt even a master technician would take a bite of this one, since techs have no access to module programming. The electronic Audiovox may require the installation of a separate speed sensor. Reviews by the few that have tried it on the Spyder have been mixed.
