Heading up to the smokies this week. Leaving out tomorrow night and will be there until Saturday. We plan to ride the dragon and cherahola skyway but wondered what else y'all recommend riding in that area? Will be staying in Townsend.

Head over to Gatlinburg via Waldens Creek Rd rather than the main drag through the park. Come back via Wears Valley Rd. Both are easy to find. If I wasn't traveling, I would catch up with you and ride.

If you are going to Gatlinburg take the ride over to Cheroke, NC over Klingsman Dome. Parking lot at the top. Highest point in the Smokies.

I'm headed up to Robbinsville, NC the 3rd weekend in Oct. to see the changing of the leafs. Better known as the fall color ride. Nice ride on Moonshiner 28. I ran that and trying to remember the road I took off it to carry me over to Clayton, Ga.
