• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Folks, can you please DM me your Facebook name? I want to set up a private group to discuss an idea I had for next year during Spyderfest.

Facebook

I have an account but really don't know how to use FB.
Only use it to see pictures of my Grand Daughters.
Call me a Luddite.
PM me for the Posse.

Cheers, David C

Well that's funny. I wasn't on Facebook either until just recently but so many Spyder folks I met said "oh we're all on Facebook. You have to be on Facebook so we can all stay in touch."

So I went on Facebook. shrug

It's not really some deep dark secret to take over the world :yikes: Just wanted to start talking about 2017 Spyder travel plans, to see who's planning on going to Spyderfest (since I suspect many of us are going to Homecoming in June) and propose motorcycle touring through Arkansas instead of hanging out at the vendor village or going on the planned rides.

There was a booklet in last year's Spyderfest packet with interesting routes throughout Arkansas (I've already ordered the 2017 book.)

Roger, I think you will end up with a short list of people going to spyderfest due to it being so close to homecoming. I would definitely like to hook up during homecoming and explore Canada with the ECP. If I do go to spyderfest, I'm all for exploring the Ozarks as opposed to hanging out in Springfield.

That's fair and I kind of expected that. But wanted to get the conversation going now.
