• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Folks,

EAA Chapter 1631 at Wellington, KS, is having its annual Fly-In on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Help Support the EAA’s ‘Young Eagles’ Program!!

The Wellington, KS EAA Chapter 1631 is having its annual Fly-In on Saturday, September 11, 2021!!

The Fly-In will be held at the Wellington Airport (KEGT).

The day will start at 7:00 a.m. with a Pancake Breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc.). The chapter requests a $7 donation for breakfast.

There will be a ‘Bounce House’ for the young folks. There will be food trucks at lunch time.

The day will be filled with airplanes from Oklahoma, Kansas, and maybe Texas. We expect 30 – 40 aircraft at the Fly-In of all types – home-built, factory built, Light Sport Aircraft, Ultralites, maybe some helicopters – and who knows what else may show up!!

But, most importantly, the EAA Chapter is heavily involved with the National EAA Young Eagles Program. The Chapter supports the Young Eagles by having Chapter aircraft owners volunteer to take Young Eagles up for a ride and show them what it is like to fly in a small airplane – generate interest in aviation. In 2019, the last year for the Fly-In, there were over 80 Young Eagles who were able to experience flight for, perhaps, the first time!

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!!

We would like to have YOU join us!! Ride what ya' got! There are some fun roads between Wellington, Dexter, and Winfield.

Regards, Joe T.
