• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So after reading all the stuff ob dynojet . Have they rectified the cable issue or is it still an issue.

ON THE FENCE because of issues!!!

Just ordered a PV3 from Fuel Moto. Hoping everything goes smooth the first time around. If not, it's hibernation time in WI, so no down time will incur if I need to ship off the ECU. At least it's easily accessible on the F3-S. I believe DJ picks up the shipping tab?

Cables wrong

NOPE!! I got my Pv3 from Fuel Moto in October , cable wrong, sent the whole thing to Vegas after spending an hour on the phone.
Came back 2 weeks later with the correct cable.
Fuel Moto was not helpful (BOB) had no understanding of a problem with cables as well as the guys at Dynojet.
If I didn't have to pay a 15% restocking fee the whole thing would have gone back that same week

T.P.

In my notes to Fuel Moto, I specifically mentioned the cable debacle that is happening to PV3 owners here on the forum. Hoping that things will turn out correct the first time. Did you also send them your ECU ? We shall see ......

I bought mine from fuel moto and it did not come with the extra cable, but Dynojet had me up and running with-in 4 days, Mark was awesome to work with

Nope .. No doubt the ECU flash is good, been there/done that. Despite its (temporary) quirks, the PV3 (as all other PV's) is an awesome tuning tool. Pretty much everything completed on a ECU flash can be accomplished with a PV3, but tunes might take a little time. Multiple tunes from stock > are possible with the PV3, and nothing is locked in.

When is the delivery date?

Was supposed to be today, but FedEx dropped the ball. Tomorrow now..

Darn it...well at least it will be here before Friday....btw...mines being serviced...28,000 miles service at 26,000 miles.. installing in new tritium IX plugs.... combined with the stage II map...the power gains all across the board should increase.

what is nice about the PV3 is I can send my ECU into monster get the stage 2 done , down load it into my computer and have more tunes I can play with and the most important thing is I can put it back to stock when I get it serviced from BRP or have check engine lite come on

I have had similar problems …… incorrect cable... software does not read tunes.... had to send in ECU... all problems are fixed by DynoJet … they even sent me an "enhanced stock" file ,.... very little " seat of the pants" improvement"
I have a 2018 F3 Spyder … I swear my 2013 SKS 1000cc bike would have kicked this F3 "ass" .. all I'm looking for is at least as much power as a F3s ...
BUT, I guess I will eventually send ECU to Monster for one of their tunes.... Shame, concept of PV3 tuner is good, just not realistic for me.

I do have it .. Haven't tried to pair it yet, as I have a couple questions in to Jamie (Long) at Fuel Moto. Hopefully know more tomorrow/Tuesday. That said, I'm not in any real hurry as being in WI, the bike is snugged away under cover. I won't be riding till March :(

Great...this will be your winter project.
