• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

dust cap popping off

I was concerned because my 2012 RT A&C is missing both front wheel caps and the axle nuts and bearings are exposed. That is until I looked at a parts diagram and discovered that there is no such part on a 2012. So I wonder if those caps are truly necessary.

UPDATE: on further research I determined that the inner wheel caps were not added until the 2013 model (i.e. 2010-2012 did not have them). I might assume the same part would fit on a pre-2013. Does anyone have an opinion whether I should add them on my 2012? It still has low miles (~7000) and so far the front wheel assemblies are very clean and almost new-looking.

I picked up a couple dust covers for the 2012 using the 2013 numbers they do not work , { start cheep and work my way up } I did how ever see a nice looking bolt on type , using new bolts , the dust cap is bolted onto the frame where the fenders are attached , new longer bolts come with the cover ----> I am looking for the item as I type forgot where I saw it :banghead: will check back in when I found them again

That Ebay post says it came off a GS model. I wonder if it will fit an RT???

I looked at the mount situation , I would use only the top 2 hole pattern looks like the lower ones bolt too the actual hub assembly , I do not wish to mess with the alignment area of the tire , but I would think the upper holes would do just fine ... I saw these in the packaging somewhere in the world of internet fun ...

Kathy, I'll let you know... but I believe it does. Ordered. They'll match my swing arm rear covers.

I tried to install these on 2012 RTS and they wouldn't fit properly. I think that someone said that one side needs to be shimmed with washers which are not included with the kit.

Mounted on my '13 RTL perfectly, no shims needed

Received and mounted the Can Am Spyder Front Wheel Hub Covers that were listed on EBay.
A big Thank-you to youngers and Kathy76065, They fit just perfect and make my inner hubs look cleaner than my newish wheels....

that is great

glad those do fit I will check on a set myself Lamont ,in another section mentioned that these cover interfere with the shock mounts lower joint , when the wheels are turned this was on the other style cycle , not the r-t ... looks like these fit the r-t just fine

youngers, they mount using the supplied allen headed bolts to replace the stock fender bolts, direct replacement, easy peasy.

One of my front hub covers popped off on the ride home from the dealer when I bought it. I called the dealer and they shrugged it off and wouldn't warranty it. Honestly, it didn't matter much to me, so I didn't push it and just took the other one off. I've been running it that way for almost 3 years with no ill effects.

My previous 2008 when bought used didn't have them either, so at the time I never even knew they came with a cover.
