• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drunken farmer steels a plane!

 This give a whole new meaning to, "Hey; hold my beer, and watch this :cus:!"

Now; I think that I'm gonna go throw up... :barf:

I see it was a staged act. The handlers on the ground did not seem to excited. The "thief" went from drunk to running pretty good. That many close calls and I would have thought crash city.

I had that pegged as a stunt from the start. Darn good at making it look like he was actually drunk.

this guy performs at air shows across the united states. I saw "farmer" at the Sussex air show about ten years ago. i'm surprised he's still alive!:roflblack:

Hi Patti,

Re: Drunk pilot at an airshow

Having been to more airshows than I can count; it is one of the oldest skits there are.

Just something to get the crowd excited,

Jerry Baumchen

Stunt....

or no stunt...he is a :cus: good pilot..:2thumbs: adds a little spice to the show...:roflblack::roflblack:

That's Kyle Franklin and his slightly modified Super Cub. I don't think he is a Delta pilot as is reported. He's chief pilot for FFC, Franklin Flying Circus. Forgot to add, Charlie Kulp was the original Drunkin Farmer. Charlie did a few airshows here at Seymour Johnson AFB. I think he retired, He is somewhere around 85 years old.
