• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Damn..... you beat me to it!

I picked up a couple of used Spyder lights on Ebay and am planning on mounting them like that!

Looks nice.

Are you going to sell this as a kit then?

AtaDude, if you want to be seen from the front during the day buy a headlight modulator. A photocell disables the system at night so your lights don't flash. Several companies manufacture them.

"headlight modulator"

Illegal in many states..... check before doing this.

Danimal - headlight modulators that modulate at the correct rate (240+/- per minute, I believe) are legal in all 50 states. Been running them for years on other bikes. And, they can never be an on/off type... something to the tune of 20% to 100%. Most (that I know of) brand name, commercially available modulators are legal and meet the specs.

I don't think you will need the modulator with the lights mounted where they are the suspension will do it all with the lights bouncing up and down on rough surfaces

That's kind of what I'm thinking. No harm if they don't work as desired... 1/4" hole in the plastic cover which can be plugged.

In Michigan you can us modulated lights during the daytime only.

I've got the fogs also... so 4 lights coming at you. I leave them on all the time.

One thing I doubt the Spyder needs is anything to make it more noticable from the FRONT... ;D

You're right on the nighttime... they all have daylight sensors which turn them "off" at night.
