• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Driver to Passenger Audio

Any tips for an audio system that will allow me to talk to just my passenger (wife). Only want something that will get the job done as cheaply as possible, not interested in phone, music, etc. Thanks

SENA

WE have a SENA SMH 5 Simple and effective. BUT---- I'm not sure if they still make it.

Works at speed, easy set up , will answer phone, bluetooth to nav. system.

Probably not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for.

Bad comunications cause:::::::

A Bluetooth intercom system from Sena or Cardo will do the job nicely.
We've been using Cardo's Teamset Pro for six years, and have just upgraded to a used set of G-4s from them.

There was someone posting a Sena 20S system for sale here just a few days ago. I have the Sena 20S and it has been pretty good. All of the systems have their good points and they are all great when they are working properly and very frustrating when they aren't.

Sena, Scala and UClear are probably the top 3.

We've been using the Sena SMH10 for about a year now with no issues at all.
Can be bought as a dual pack with both units already "paired" from the factory.

MOTORCYCLE DAVE HERE

I can cure your troubles in looking for a communications system
I stock a bunch of them at all prices and as always....
I am never under sold. Call Me 209-887-3283

SENA

I still STOCK the SMH5 sets but mostly people on motor scooters use them.
They are an entry type set you are much better off going to the SMH10 or 10S
everything about them is much better and not that much different in cost
remember you always GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR....

I used the SMH5 dual set for 2 years before upgrading. For what you want to do, they do the job just fine.

Boy, that's the truth. We got the Scala team set and have not been able to get it to work right. I have almost memorized the manual and I am still having trouble. Either there is a very steep learning curve or I am extraordinarily stupid. My wife suspects the latter. :banghead:

Hmmm...

My wife & I use the UClear intercom boomless mic gear, it came at the right price & does everything we wanted very well & apparently does other stuff too.... but then we aren't in the States so it's harder to get SENA gear from MotorcycleDave!

I've got the Sena SMH 10.
It's my first foray into motorcycle bluetooth. I'm pretty satisfied with it for the last two years.
Call motorcycle Dave.
Great guy, very knowledgeable, and you'll get the best deal.

Recommend a blue tooth system. I am one who always used to forget to detach the wire. :roflblack::roflblack: We use Sena SMH10 two up or on separate Spyders.
