• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drive belt clearance on rear wheel pully

I was cleaning up my RTS after a rainy ride yesterday and noticed that the drive belt has alot more clearance from the inner lip of the rear wheel. It once had a gap of maybe like the width of a credit card but now has a gap of atleast a 1/8 inch or more. Is this something to be concerned of or is that wider gap ok? Nothing has been done to the bike so I don't know why the belt has moved from the inner lip.

Had you just rolled the spyder bacwards? If so you'll get a false indication. Drive it forward for a hundred yards and recheck.

Well it was pushed backwards out of the garage so that may account for the belt movement. I will check tomorrow after I ride the bike forward a few hundred yards. Thanks guys. This place is full of very smart people who has answers for us dumb newbies.

Usually the case..!!

backing up or rolling the roadster back will alter the position but forward motion will track it back into place. Business card credit card anything but a deck of cards..!! :roflblack:
