• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drag Racing at SpyderFest...

I think that you're 100% correct... I heard a report that she's had so many "practice launches" on the back roads around her, that the Town will have to spend tons of money on re-paving everything in sight! :D

That and the new rear tire she has mounted.

Rumor has it that the drag strip we used in past years has a test and tune night during Spyderfest. Yazz is going to keep practicing in case anyone ones to challenge her

Just got back from our Louisiana road trip. Good friends, good scenery and good food.

Don't look like I will be needing this little Rocket anymore! Maybe its time to start looking or something more family oriented.

Oh No! Once you've tweeked your machine just right, you have to keep it!!! Besides, I think you have a more family oriented three wheel vehicle. :2thumbs:

:D And winning is FUN; isn't it? :D

Winning is fun, but it doesn't happen often to me. I just like tearing down the track as best I can. To me that is FUN!

But I just put on a new rear tire:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

You'll have it worn down real good before the burnout contest. You'll need a new one to ride home from SpyderFest anyway.

I feel sorry for Yazz! She's been training hard and was set to take it all this year.

Have learned lots this year watching YouTube. ;)

Nope! A couple skid marks and nobody has complained about the noise yet. Not telling you where the road is. :p

Mr. BahaRon! :gaah: There are secrets to this thing called "Drag Races." (Insert green smiley face.) :spyder:

Yup, going to keep practicing. You never know what's around the corner...

I hope that if this is true that someone official informs us in time to adjust our plans, or maybe that is the plan!

Remember the first one? It just happened. Don't want any LEOs crashing the party. Time will tell...

I will see what I can find out. I am not making any promises that I can find anything out.

I totally understand where everyone is coming from.

What I can tell you is that I know the rydes will be handled differently this year. We listened to the comments and hopefully have that somewhat worked out. We all know it will never be perfect for everyone. We do the best job that we can.

I will put drag racing back on the top of my list for next year.

If I find anything out I will let you know.

The first time. We all remember the first time.... What could possibly go wrong? Such a bucolic setting.....

SethO was toasting this guy with his hot run.....

But at the 'finish' line for the performance testing, not drag racing, were the people...10 feet from 80 mph....no problem.

And then came LEO, below.

Just sharing some memories. See you at SF7!

Great pictures. Thanks for the memories! The second year was the first time I 'performance tested.' I won and have been hooked ever since.

In the last picture, is that Jedd winning Doc?

See you at SF7!
