Drag Bar Phone/Ram Mount Options

Hey Gang,

I’m installing my Drag Bar this weekend and am searching for RAM mounts or a phone mount as the F3 Clamp I have from Lamont will no longer work. I see the Monster amount 2.0 on the site but I fear that won’t work with the drag bar either. Does anyone one have mounts that the like with the drag bar? Also is it a viable option to mount my USB in the blank spot I have next to my ignition? I do have the water resistant cap and would be mounting with an in line fuse to the accessory wire. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

Hmm that works? I wonder why Lamonster Monster 2.0 doesn’t work? The gps mount explicitly says no drag bars but the Ram Mount does not mention it. Guess I’ll give them a call.

RAM has a many base mounts that will connect around the bar itself.
On my Triumph I have a mount held on with a U-bolt around the handlebar, and for the RT Limited rear cupholder I have a Tough Claw that clamps onto the passenger hand grips to mount the passenger's cup holder. I can take it off when not in use and clamp it elsewhere.

I have a drag bar and i have 2 mounts. One is a Ram u mount with a ball and the other is a Quad lock . I prefer the quad lock. It is more solid and easy to get in and out instead of the uinversal x grip design.

As far mounting the USB plug, i plan to instal a universal plug i got off of Amazon this weekend in the open slot. Will let you know how that goes

I am using a TechMount on mine to mount my radar detector. It is a ram ball type mount that clamps on the bar.... They have a whole line of mounts including for cell phones:

Wanted to share my idea of a phone mount I installed on my wife's F3 yesterday. I don't have a pic of it, but I can list the parts I used to build it. Pretty simple.

- I bought this bracket from Lamonster: F3 Bar Clamp
- Then I bought the phone holder from Ciro3d: Ciro3d premium phone holder
- And this economy ball mount for it: Ciro3d economy ball mount

I did have to cut off a 1/4-20 bolt to make a shorter stud to screw into the bar clamp, but it all went together great and is very sturdy. Directly in the line of sight and not up on the handlebars. I was impressed. Anyway, it is another option for someone.
