• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This recall should include all Spyders too. The problem with a suddden unexpected turn to the left is exactly what happened to my Spyder. I didn't experience any steering "bind" that seems to have caused an over correction on the part of the operator as was reported by many Spyder owners. Come on BRP....do the recall or face serious liability lawsuits !!!!

This sounds like it could be similar to the ground fix that was already called for on the Spyders.

Nah... the ground fix was to correct electrical/magnetic field interference to the SE's electronics... this one says a short causes the left turn.

Thanks for posting this. My buddy, a retired deputy sheriff, has had steering problems lately with his spyder, and tomorrow will be filing a complaint with the NHTSA. Hope the spyder recalls won't be too far off.
They need to be fixed, not just replace parts.

My Spyder is now hibernating for the winter, but I've got a hunch my first ride in the spring will be to the dealer for a recall.
