• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

we were backroading in wis saturday and this happened two separate times, but
not right together. shifted down coming to a stop. freewheeled through 3 gears
and then ,bam, went into the last gear. havent had anything lie that happen since my tps switch
was warrantied for water in it when new. drove another 140 miles or so the rest of the day and
never had a problem. checked everything underneath and all great. computer glitch ? oil level
is fine. just wondered if anyone has had this happen. thank you!!--irv toms

Road gremlins? Is your gremlin bell well secured and close to the pavement? This is the best tech advice I can give.

If Don’t happen again your good:thumbup: however if does, might need deeper look @ on buds :dontknow:

So you were riding in 5th gear then? So what you are saying is it downshifted smoothly into 4th, 3rd, and 2nd, and kind of crashed down into 1st, right? My suspicion would be something related to the hydraulics of the shifting system.

actually was in 6th at the start. when i have no one behind me i use the
gears to slow down. brakes are still original and look good at 32.000. to be honest i dont know for sure but i think it finally grabbed in 2nd. could have been first. was over 100 miles from
home and unhappy and scared thoughts were going through my mind. other than 1
compressor and an early dess module, havent had a problem. and amsoil at 6000 mile
intervals. like i said, no wiring damage and no codes.
