• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Down for a bit.

Wouldn't you know that just as the weather has gotten consistently nice. My back surgery is finally scheduled for tomorrow the 15th. I've been struggling with six herniated discs (lumbar), stenosis, spurs and arthritis. Fortunately the surgeon is only going in to trim, scrape and grind to clean things up. He says I'm to young and active for fusion. Doc says he wants me up and moving as much as possible within reason afterwards. Hope to be riding in three to four weeks. In the meantime I've got a handful of maps to plan the late summer trips.

Ryde safe everyone.

Get out and clean her up everyday. Keep your maps handy. As soon as you can get out walking, do it. Wish you the best. Just remember, riding is great therapy.

Good Luck. I just had knee replacement 4 weeks ago and will be going for first ride of the year tomorrow. Modern medicine and surgery is amazing.

So looking ahead to the middle of May......you'll be back to :riding: and enjoying the still-spring weather. So, do what the Doc says, :lecturef_smilie:think positive thoughts and remember, it's only 3-4 weeks out of the rest of your life and to be able to RYDE reasonably pain free is, well......like doin' the HAPPY DANCE........:dg1:ONLY BETTER!!!!!!!

Best of luck and keep your SpyderLovin' Friends posted on your recovery. (ps
 comin' your way!)

Back Surgery

Good Luck and Heal quick and complete.
See you on the road in a few short week.

Thanks Everyone

Thanks for the prayers and words of encouragement. I had a ruptured disc taken care of about eight years ago so I know what to expect. I'm just not looking forward to watching all the bikes going by the house while I'm laid up. If it could only be raining for the next three or four weeks.........:sour:
