• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't leave you frunk open when stopped.

After a year of riding my can am Spyder I have noticed something that I wondered if others have noticed. If I park my Spyder and leave my frunk open in a parking lot while getting things out or putting items away I get people stopping to ask if I need help! It took a a couple of times before I realized they thought I was leaving my hood up as a sign of motor problems! I now know I have to get my stuff out and close my frunk. I even had my daughter stop and check on me last week when I was parked and putting things away before going into a place of business. I'm not complaining because I appreciate people who are looking out and wanting to help. I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen often?
 
When I'm in a parking lot and my frunk is open that's when people stop to talk to me about my spyder. My guess is that since my frunk is open I look like I have a few moments to spare.

In some parts leaving a car hood open is a sign that help is needed. In my motorcycle course here in Ontario we were taught that leaving your helmet by the side of your motorcycle does the same.

No...

But I usually get asked "how much can you get in there...." Many times followed by "Where's the engine..." :thumbup:
 
When I leave the Frunk open I get the how much can you fit in there and then the where is the engine questions. I leave it open quite often when I am going to get some take out. Put the drinks in the Frunk and then leave it open to put the food in.
 
My frunk is always a conversation starter when people see me approach my tryke with a pile of groceries. I love to lean wayyyy into the frunk as I start to fill it, half disappearing at just 5'2", just to accidentally show off how big it is. Today, one guy watched as I filled the frunk but still had more stuff to go. He said, "Uh oh, you've run outta room!" When I opened my rear cargoes and stuffed all of my remaining groceries into just one, he couldn't believe it.

But, no, I've never had anyone think I needed help. That's funny!

But are you SURE that he was watching the groceries disappear into the frunk?

hahaha I gotta try this , lift the fronk and see who stops by ! ;) as for filling it , 18 pack of cold buds fit just fine --- at 20.8 pounds or so

I know that too. ;) I wasn't being chivalrous – I was just teasing Bob about which "basket of people" he belongs in , according to a recent quote from a particular presidential candidate. :)

But since I was born in an age when chivalry was a good thing, I'll come to your defense anytime. ruralgirl. ;)
