My "Pomeranian Clock", goes off each morning a bit after 6:00 am...
Since I sleep on my back; Tink just walks up my chest, puts her paws on my chin, rubs her head on my face, and then starts in with the Puppy Kisses...
It's actually pretty cute, and she started doing all of this on her own! No training...

Sorry: Cannot address dog alarm clocks now--but have been through that situation.

Two of my cats let me know when its morning. One comes by the side of the bed and lets me know its daylight with his meowing. Princess comes up on the bed, walks across my back and lays down next to my pillow--then the headbutting starts.

They want their breakfast of course.

I was always amazed at how well they can tell time. 5:00am sharp every morning. Seemed way easier to get up when my two were around. MLC needs a new dog alarm clock... Bad.
