• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does this handlebar look factory standard for my 2021 RTL?

I've been struggling to try to fine-tune the handlebar position and the more I look at other 2021 RTLs and mine, the more I do not think I have the standard factory handlebar.
Also, took it to the dealer for the stop light recall, and the service guy did not think it was the standard handlebar from the factory.

The previous owner swears that was the handlebar it had when he bought it new.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the info....
The previous owner swears he never changed them but I'm starting to distrust his claims...

Look like F3 bars to me. I wish my 2021 RTL did have the F3 bars. I think that would place them in a more comfortable position.

funny you mention that because they were TOO long for me and I was looking to replace them.
They were reaching too far back

I just tilted them as high as I could to see if it gets any better...

Maybe you guys need to do a trade

Those are the stock F3 bars

Jetfixer, just out of interest, how can you tell they are stock F3 bars, since the ‘20+ RT models come what looks like F3 bars anyway? Genuine question……just interested:thumbup:

OK, I have got to jump in here. I'm on the opposite end of this. I'm 5'7" and have got to replace those stock bars. They are killing my elbows. F series or short reach?

They're expensive, but I recommend Helibars. I bought the F3 Attitude bars with a 2" riser and they were ok, but I still didn't care for the positioning. Then I bought the F3 short reach and that was truly a mistake. Finally bought the Helibars, which are customizable. Love them. So if you can afford them, I think you'd be happy with the purchase.

If you would like to replace your handle bars, I have a stock F-3 handle bar that I will send you FREE if when you recieve them you send me your handle bars in exchange.

You are the person with the Red RT with the Short reach F-3 bars on it, correct? I thought I saw you post that they bring the bars too far back for your comfort.

Here is what I propose, I have a set of stock F-3 bars that I would send to you free of charge IF you will ship me the Long reach bars off your RT. How does that sound for a deal???

Yes, that’s the go alright, Quickdraw. If you can afford the Helibars, they are by far the most adjustable out there. Mine are now in a perfect position for all day riding.:2thumbs:

Yes.. Helibars... no more trying this and that, sending it back or trying to sell it, then buying something else... once and done with the customizable Helibars.

Hey, thanks for the offer... I just tilted them all the way up and I will ride it like that a little bit to see how it feels.
If it does not work, I would love to take you up on your offer before spending 5 or 6 hundred $ on Helibars...
