There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Does the plate carrying the rear brake caliper go inside or outside the swing arm?

Greetings
A friend helped me remove the rear wheel for a much needed tire replacement.
He worked on the caliper side; I worked the drive-gear side.
He removed the caliper and together we loosened the axle nut. As we removed the axle, the plate to which the caliper attached dropped to the floor.
Now he is not with me and I want to get this bike on the road.
My question is Does that mounting plate go inside the swing-arm, i.e. on the axle, riding on the "top hat" style "washer" nested in the wheel? Or does the mounting plate go OUTSIDE the swing-arm, held in place by the washer and nut which was removed to release the axle?

I know: I should be able to tell by looking and I should know where that mounting plate is supposed to fit.
I should. I can't. I plead ignorance. And you are correct: I failed to take photographs. I typically remember so to do after the fact.
Thus this question.

Exploded parts diagrams are no help. Swing-arm diagram doesn't show brakes, and vice versa.

So Oh Gurus of All Things Spyder: Might you be able to press back the boundaries of my ignorance a smidgen and tell me the correct mounting sequence:
A) Axle - Plate - Swing-arm - Washer - Nut;
or
B) Axle - Swing-arm - Plate - Washer - Nut;
or
C) Something else altogether?

Attached is a parts fiche for the rear brake for my 2015 ST Ltd. As you can see, the swing-arm is not included. The "mounting plate" is part 147, shown adjacent to the caliper.

Many thanks, as usual!

THANK YOU, both. A clarifying question for Wolfeman: by “spacer” do you mean the piece I describe as a top hat, which is, indeed, a spacer? If not, I’m missing a part…
