Does fitting a BRP Urban Rack on F3 mean loosing the grab rails?

I'm interested in the Urban Rack, but the photos I've seen appear that the grab rails are removed when installing the rack...is this correct?
Since I have the BRP side cases (which attach onto the grab rail mounting knobs) that might be an issue...Anyone know?

I have the urban rack which I have on pretty much all the time. I also have the back passenger backrest (which requires some adapters on the rail) which is rarely ever on, but when my mom comes to town, she wants to get a ride in the mountains, so I need the backrest for her to be safe. I also have the BRP saddlebags which mostly stay off, but on long cold weather rides where I need extra gear with me, I put them on, and also for road trips. You're fine with all 3 BRP products working together. I leave the grab rails on 100% of the time.

The Urban Rack comes with some little 'nubbies' to put in place of the hand rails if you choose to remove the hand rails. It is not required.

Thanks for the replies! I had many great rides the 6 yrs I lived in the Denver area...Yellowstone; Sturgis; 4 corners, etc.
