There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. It's at Harbor Freight and they are just down the road. It would it easier to clean the spyder rear tire on this rainy day.

  • Aluminum ramp for conveniently guiding the wheel onto the rollers
  • Maximum capacity: 500 lbs.
  • 6 nonslip rubber feet and 2 rollers
  • Motorcycle wheel cleaning stand keeps your bike up while you work

It's about half the price of others. Only two Harley guys had kinda bad reviews, 12 reviews total.

I have one from Rollastand very similar.... Have it for well over 14 years, Makes cleaning the wheels a snap. With the Spyders wide rear wheel it just fits, But it does the job..... And you can use it on the fronts also...

You just ride/push it off, As far as getting it on you just ride/push it on, Once the tire goes over the first roller it drops into a cradle , Even a Caveman can do it....:rolleyes:

So I am not getting it. :banghead:
I can see driving it onto the rollers but once it is on, when you give it throttle to drive it off, wont the rear wheel just spin on the rollers? Kind of like a dyno?

Went and got one, with 25%off coupon it was just over 20 bucks. Looks wide enough for the rear tire and a lot easier than dragging the floor jack out(in my case).

Tried it and it works great. You have to line the back up just right for the wide tire to fit but is does and it makes it a lot easier. worth the 20 bucks.

So, did you ride it right on. And, does the Spyder come off easy by riding off in reverse. I have a Harbor Freight near me and will buy one, if you tell me it was easy on and easy off.

Thanks

I just pushed it on. You have to line it up carefully for the back to work. It was a little harder to push the back on than the front. The front was easy and you could drive it on easy enough. I think the back is getting toward the top end of its weight limit but it still worked very well for me.
FYI: the rollers are 7.5in. wide and the rear tire is 8.25.

Put :spyder2: in N and push on and off (Very easy)

I learned my lesson the other day about putting my spyder (SM5, 2008) in neutral when not on it and engine off. I didn't notice the slight incline until the spyder started to roll. Since I was on the shifter side and off the spyder I tried to shift with my hand; that didn't work. I jumped on the spyder and tried my foot; that didn't work. I had to apply the brake and then start the spyder to get it back in to gear.

So, if I get one of those, I pull in the clutch lever and then roll the spyder.
