a device that connects to the diagnostic port of a Spyder and is capable of displaying the activity on the CAN-BUS as well as the list of stored codes.
The reason I ask is because there is now available a CAN-BUS version of the Raspberry Pi.
Don’t worry if you have never heard of it.
Raspberry PI is a bit nerdy but basically it is a small self contained computer.
From the spec sheet it appears to be able to be programmed to read the CAN BUS;.
What it probably won’t do is clear codes or write to the system in any way.
While that is possible, I wouldn’t even attempt it due to the havoc it could cause.
Anyway today it is raining and I was just wondering if anyone would find something like that useful.
I am not really sure about it.
Oh, the hardware is around 300 bucks.
