• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anybody use the front rolling travel bag ?

Here's a link where I'm considering getting the bag.

If anyone knows a cheaper site, please let me know.

Thank You TicketBait for the photos of your bag.

I'm also considering the soft bag like 2NFrnt suggested.

Delayed gratification is very difficult for me, but I'll have to wait for my Tax Return before I can buy a bag this expensive.

Than You everyone else who offered help.

I myself have pondered getting that piece of luggage and then I thought about it... You are wasting about 1/4 of the space in the frunk just with the material that thing is made out of (wheels,handles,zippers,fasteners,ect.). You will definitely fit a whole lot more in the frunk with a Hefty drawstring bag with odor blocker. The wasted space on that luggage equals three more pairs of shoes my wife can bring along with us on a ONE day trip !!! :roflblack:

The following paragraph is a joke and by no means is created to offend anyone, even those sensitive RT riders. :roflblack:

Those RT guys are not going to give you good advice on this topic, they have more cargo space with more compartments on those RT spyders, than they have items to fill it. No wonder they can drive across the country on them, I belive an aftermarket microwave is a availible option for an RT. :joke:

Take it from a couple that has to survive soley on the frunk of an RS. Every inch counts !!! Good luck with your decision.

OH BOY..now another decision. Do I switch from my BRP frunk roller to a Hefty bag??? 3 more pair of shoes and maybe just maybe room for a microwave!!! Always having to make decisions .. this is what happens for RT/Spyder "nuts". Which I am definitely one...ok lets see 3 pair shoes vs. being neat & tidy....:gaah::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Thanks Scotty! For everybody else here is a link and a photo. I'll be ordering a set of those before Spyderfest. :D

No, these are made for the R35 bags on the RS model. I use BMW R1100RT bag liners on my RT, but BRP has Soft Side Cargo Travel Bags, P/N 219400172.

You can find the complete complement of luggage items for both models at the BRP Online Store or at your dealer.

the side cargo bags work GREAT!!! they're much roomier than they appear; and will still slide in, when stuffed snugly. we used them on our first overnighter; and we had everything we needed, with no problem. a good investment. and they do have removable shoulder straps...

My "traveling bag" is call the RT-622 Attachment trailer! It did cost me a whole lot more than the luggage bag!

:cus:I can not recommend it as after 4 uses the seam along the zipper ripped and was not even that full.

I am not impressed with BRPs quality. I have a passenger seat bag. The first one self destructed with both rear ties just separating from the bag. The current one has zippers that took forever to work open and the seams are separating on the top of the bag.

They look cool on the on the bike for day trips but definitely not something I would rely on in the long term. And I really question how they'll fair in a heavy rain.

That's why I never even considered the frunk bag. I wouldn't necessarily use a garbage bag but I think there might be better alternatives. After all, how much stuff can you pack in them that you need those little wheels?

I have the rolling frunk bag and love it. Also bought the simi rigid bags for rear. I have since bought the soft rear bags and like them better than the simi rigid rear side bags. You can fill them half full and still have room to shove other "Stuff" in the compartment.
:dontknow: Just me though.

I have the front rolling BRP bag and love it..no issues..Did get it last year for the $149 price...also this year bought the 2 soft side CanAm inserts for my RT saddle "bags"...so far realllly impressed with them...will let you know after have traveled a few miles with them.
