• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

documenting first oil change

I've always wondered just how extensive "proof" is required if there's a warranty claim involving an owner-performed maintenance item, in this case an oil change.

Does photographic evidence such as photos of the new filter and oil and an odo image capture suffice, along with receipts for the requisite materials to perform the maintenance?

Just for fun, I'm posting such below.IMG_2638.jpgIMG_2637.jpgIMG_2633.jpgIMG_2634.jpgIMG_2635.jpg

As I see it...

It doesn't much matter. If an issue comes up oil related they will analyze the condition of the parts and fluids and will be able to tell if the proper maintenance was done. Now for the sale of the machine keeping the dated receipts for the products will help you with the sale...
