• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Doc Humphreys Spyder Rack and Pack

I had been looking for such a rack off and on for a while. When Doc introduced his rack and pack It looked like just what I wanted. Ordered it first day he said it was available (last Friday). Got it yesterday (Tuesday) and immediately installed it.

Impressed with construction and instructions to install. The Pack is high quality.

Went to breakfast this morning a took a short ride after. This is going to get used! With a 30 pound weight limit it will give me the chance to use the Spyder more often for errand runs.

Thanks Doc!

Couple of pictures of install...

Reminder - Weight Limit on hitch!

It's been a while since anyone posted about our Spyder Racks and I wanted to remind everyone that the BRP hitch is only warranted for 45 lbs. With our Rack you have 35lbs of gear you can carry. I wouldn't want anyone to overload theirs and have a problem with the warranty on their bike. Check you manual!!

Judging from the photos, it appears to be quite a job installing this rack. Doesn't it just attach to the hitch somehow?

It has 2 ways to mount. Either with 4 U bolts or 2 U bolts and a bolt in the hitch ball hole. It is pretty easy actually in comparison to some of the farkle installs. We have videos for installation either way and have had no one have trouble on the dozen or so we have sold.

OK just wondering. Thanks for clarifying :)
