• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have installed Doc’s spring stiffeners. They look real easy to install, but how do they work? Thanks

Picture or link please so we know what you're talking about?

Also, info on your Spyder (year, model)

I have two on each of my front shocks, Doc installed them for me at Spyderquest 2016. Really tightened up the front end. Money well spent.

Really good

I used them for about 2 months. I went and had a bunch of add on installed on my 15 RTL. I had the front shock spring adjusters installed (http://store.valueaccessories.net/SpyderRT2013FrontShockSpringAdjusters.aspx)
I have the Doc Humphrey’s units for sale. They were actually pretty effective at stiffening up the front.

Then why stop using them?

I got the new kit so I didn’t need the Doc units anymore. With the new kit I can make adjustments wit a spanner.

I have just rear ones

I have them just on the rear of my 2014 RTS...(you use 1/2 of a set) It allows you to set your air pressure one bar lower on the dash scale...Doc said it will also allow me to keep riding double the next time my air compressor fails when I'm out on the road riding double...I hope he's right...larryd

The paint on mine is starting to come off so it is easy to see them. The nuts in combination with the swaybars replacement was the fix for me. I absolutley love how it handles now ...
