• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do You Think 3 Wheel Deadwood and Sturgis Rally Will Get Delayed or Canceled

I'm wondering the same thing...We have reservations...Just waiting to see how thing turn out...larryd

Deadwood is still a possibility for cancel/postponed.
Sturgis is too far out to call. But if Deadwood is canceled it would be a good chance that Sturgis would.

As of now everything is still on. We’re talking the height of summer so hopefully the virus gets good and cooked by then.

If by then the curve of daily new cases is in a steep decline then possibly they will go on. If the new cases curve is still going up or staying flat in June I wouldn't count on Deadwood. I think July will tell for Sturgis. Lions International Convention which was scheduled for the end of June was already canceled a couple of weeks ago, but that draws attendees from all around the world and requires a lot of up front planning. WingDing 42 at the end of June is still on, but could be changed.

RE: Deadwood:

We were all set to go. Had the forms filled out and was going to mail them end of March. We have put it on hold since we want to see if end of April lifting of restrictions (the current plan) gets changed.

My fear, is that they may release stuff a little to early and we get another round of infections. Hence, our reason to avoid crowds and gatherings until we are for sure.

Be safe out there.

RE: Sturgis:

Time will tell on that one. Since it is more than a month out from Deadwood, it's possible.

We would avoid that one. Way to many people for me. Wrong flavor of bikes...so would feel a bit out of place.

I sold my H-D about 5 weeks ago, so I'm taking the Spyder there this year. I've been going to Sturgis off/on the past 20 years. Such a huge flavor of bikes, it doesn't really matter anymore what you ride. Huge Spyder presence at Sturgis the last 5 years. If Sturgis is cancelled in early August, this country is in a far more world of hurt than we are now.

If Saint Louis is a predictor...
All 4th of July activities have been cancelled. Parade, fireworks, concerts.
The local experts are predicting it will still be around literally, 3 months from now.
Dagnabbit!

I am also registered for Deadwood but have not heard anything yet about a cancellation. I have gone for 3 years now would like to make it 4. I was at Sturgis for the 75th and was thinking of going this year for the 80th.
Also looking forward to Red Rocks Ride In at St George in September, but haven't heard anything on that one yet.

the event coordinator for the Deadwood 3-wheel rally said the event is still ON as of now??????? time will tell...
BIG F

Here's one for the math whizzes;
If social distancing (6 ft. Separation) is still in effect and
they get as many at Sturgis as last year, and
50% of the attendees are couples, so don't have to worry about it, then
Is there enough room in Sturgis to hold the event?

Not enough coffee for me to figure that one out. I will solve the problem for me anyway by not going.

Especially since this year was anticipated to be a bigger year anyway.
