• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do You Really Want To Know?

:congrats:
I hope that you live to be 100!

And I hope that I get to be one of your pallbearers! :D

Done.... I'd be honored... Wait.. Didn't you say your past the "lower end"..? How the hell is that gonna work unless I dig your sorry ass up before I die? Wait.. That's probably what killed me..:roflblack:

Hi Bob,

Re: How long you're gonna live??

Weel, it says to 91. Since that is only 16 yrs away, I think I'll start drinking more.

Makes sense to me,

Well, according to the servey, I have about 35 years left (would put me at 85). Guess I need to start applying for that job as a greeter at walmart just to give me something to do.

You sure you want to do that? A friend of mine, who was a Walmart greeter, said a friend of his said this in response when Red told him he was working as a greeter.
"I'm sorry to hear that!"
"Why?"
"Don't you know? Walmart greeter is the last job you have before you die!" :roflblack:

When we get to the point of checking the morning paper for the obits to see if we made it another day...time to apply for a WalMart greeter job. :roflblack::roflblack:

My great gradfather died at 81, my grandfather at 81, my dad at 81, I'm 63, I told my wife she has me for maybe 20 more years then after that was barrowed time.

I guess I can wait for awhile! Survey says I can expect to live from 79 to 88 years of age. I'm 71 now. Interesting they don't ask about death ages of first degree family members. I think that is a factor. My older brother who is 76 is now older than my two oldest brothers who died at 75 and 73. Dad died at 73, Mom at 83. None of my maternal uncles made it to 70.

I wonder how much medical care has impacted life span. I'm sure that without the prescriptions I've been on for quite a few years and the two heart stents I have I would never have made it to 70.
