do you really get what you pay for

so i took my car in for a oil change today, on the way home i pulled into a duncan donuts to get coffee. in the lot was a BMW MINI COOPER and a CORVETTE both convertibles, they were putting this tops up because it was starting to drizzle. the mini cooper put her top up electrically and the corvette guy was out of his car doing his by hand. now i would think the corvette is a lil more expensive than the cooper but the cooper had a power top. GO FIGURE

I can attest to that. I had just about settled on the $55,000 vette when I remembered to ask how the convertible top worked. The salesman proceeded to manually open and close the ragtop. There's no way I was going to fork over that much $$ and still have to exit the car to deal with the top. I think the $65000 car had a power top.

guy paid $81K here for a convertible vette, didn't even get the Z51 package. Dealer marked it up 10K when they first came out. idiots!
