• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do you own another motorcycle besides your Spyder?

Couple of old hard mount Harleys, one is converted to trike, other one is same year, same model, used as parts bike. Some junked out 60s or 70s Hondas around here too, but they are just about stripped for parts.

When we downsized and bought the new condo I also had to downsize the herd of six bikes. I chose the Spyder RT as our two up touring bike and my Suzuki Burgman for my solo tourer. I am happy with both. After 50 years of shifting and handling all sizes of machines these two work great and I have had them both all over the U.S.

I have 2 spyders in my garage (2021 RTL and 2016 F3L special series). Until last week I also had a 2018 BMW K1600B. It was the best 2 wheeler that i have ever owned. But after a few too close calls over the past month, I decided that I would be riding 2 wheels a lot less often, probably 10% of the time or less. So I decided to sell my higher dollar 2 wheeler and pick up a cruiser for just puckering around on. My buddy has a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M109 that I have always loved (owned 4 of them). They are not the fastest, best handling, or best bikes by any means, but they just keep drawing me back. Plus they are sort of big, which suits a guy like me. He made me an offer on it that I could not refuse, so I will be picking it up later this week, or first of next week. Here is a picture of it (the orange one) when we rode up to App. State to visit my daughter about 10 years ago.

I still have a fat-tired TW-200. The perfect dirt bike for old farts. I rode it 4,000 miles through Mexico to the Yucatan and back.

Still not sure why, except it's been a ball of fun, bought a Honda ADV160 scooter a while back. Great around town and on lower speed back country roads. Got to do something about the seat tho, after about 40 miles it starts hurting my butt. If i can get that fixed I may just do a Natchez Trace Saddlesore Scooter 1000 next year when there are more hours of daylight.

Yup. Still have two Honda Rebels, (a 250 and a 450) that are actually sold but still in my shop for now. Also have three beemers, a '79 R80S, a '00 R1100S, and my primary ride, a '00 R1200C. The Spyder gets duty when my old hips and knees say so.

I once had a 1984 Magna V65. Back then it was the fastest on the Highway.

I truly love my Spyder, and have not regretted for a moment trading in my magnificent Honda Goldwing for the 3 wheel Spyder. But I found that while I love the ride of the Spyder, sometimes I miss the two wheel experience. I now own a Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It is not nearly as capable, as fast or as comfortable as my RT, but it does let me work the gears and lean into the curves. I think I have the best of both worlds right now. I would guess that I am far from alone in having a 2 wheeler in the garage next to my 3 wheeler.

Yup.

Two Harleys (storing an Iron 1200 for a friend) and a scooter.

@70, I'll give up two wheels someday, but not yet! 2002 BMW r1150GS picking up a 24"x24" 4-blade prop for a boat.

I have a 2022 KTM 390 Duke for my 2 wheel toy.

I like your choice of a 2 wheeler. About 5 years ago, I got the “new” edition Ninja 400. Lightweight, 70 mpg, still lets me Lean!!!!!!.

If I hadn’t chosen that, I would have certainly considered the 390 Duke. Nice rig that is…

SP

I also have a:
1992 Kawasaki 1000GTR (C10)
1995 Triumph Thunderbird 900
2009 Kawasaki 1400GTR (C14)
2009 Honda DN-01 x 2 (but I'm in the process of selling one of em.)

I am adding the 2023 Spyder F3-S to my 2020 Kawasaki Z900. Not giving up on two wheels just yet, but wanted something different, maybe even a daily driver to work. The Z900 is a blast and even with a smaller 950cc Engine produces much more HP and torque than the Spyder. The Spyder from my meager 20 mile ride home from the dealer is more "civilized" and tame but smooth and very comfortable.

Don't judge my messy garage..:opps: Besides it's been cleaned to make room for the Spyder. The rebel behind the Z900 is my wife's, soon to be leaving for it's new home with my oldest son who just got his 2 wheel endorsement.
