• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride Forrest Ride!
Welll..... you better believe..

As all knew I had another throttle body failure. Contacted Central PowerSport in Kissimmee, fl and they said they would have a throttle body very shortly and then they picked up my spyder, yesterday jan 10, and returned the spyder to me this afternoon Jan 11.
You talk about quick turnaround, UNBELIEVABLE.. But it is true... Gotta thank the entire crew and the GM for making it happen.
This kind of service has me so excited that I almost..... well you know.......Thanks again CPS.

Glad to hear of good service, not glad to hear of failure, how many miles?

3rd replacement at 22,000++ miles.. However, ones never know why, but at least to say BRP sure supported the dealers in my behalf... Thanks BRP.

Glad to hear they were so helpful Forrest. I had a few issues with my Ryde and the folks at Central Florida Powersports bent over backwards to make it right. I have to agree, this kind of service is not very common these days!!

Does this mean you won't come and visit Doc and I for lunch anymore?

That question must be for Forrest. Besides the company, I enjoy those lunches, Greek, Wing House, Five Guys, Sushi (Forrest's favorite) and the list goes on. Did someone say meets, greets and eats???

I always give credit where credit is due.. Also, no praise for those who don't perform.

And Paul, YOU KNOW EXACTLY what I mean.:D

I don't think there's anyone out there, even vaguely familiar with you, that doesn't know exactly what you mean. That's what makes you who you are. If you have an opinion, subtle or not, you make sure everyone knows it. They can't take that away from you! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

This is the same dealership that has provided me with a Spyder Loaner so I would not miss key ryding events (several) while my mythical 2012 Spyder RT limited can't seem to get shipped from BRP. Really can't say enough about how well these folks treat us and how important they seem to feel that Spyders are to their long term business. This is so refreshing!!!!

You have been out to sea too long for me to respond to that trap question.:roflblack:

It's a short 180 mile round trip for lunch, etc.

What's a 2 hr 30 min ride?

Paul you are like the Post Office poster board... I can't seem to get away???:roflblack:

Besides, I tell it the way I see, but if wrong, I admit it.:yikes:

Great Service from a dealer!

It's GREAT when a dealer steps up!
The Spyder Ryder of America San Diego Chapter was on a group ride with 16 Spyders few weeks ago when a ryder started having electrical issues, we stopped as a group at a local dealer along our route, they made got the bike in right away found the problem and fixed it and got the Spyder back on the road right away (within an hour and a half)

Cheers to Ted and the team at Southbay Motorsports in Chula Vista CA (San Diego County) for helping out!
