• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do the 2013 rss spyder run hot like the rt do

Don't know..!!

but so far have not heard from anyone on the RS/RSS's.. Maybe the body works and exhaust system make the difference. Those ryding the sportier models also have a different ryding style and come from other hot rydes. When my wing got hot and the fan kicked in it became a hot ryde. My RS in traffic gets hot but the engine is running in the proper heat range. Just not moving the hot air out of the engine compartment. Jmo :dontknow:

more heat

from what i've been told, they make more heat than previous years, but they also have the cat underneath like the st and rt. nothing like the '' hot '' st's and rt's though.

I ran a couple polls, just to find out this kind of information, a while back and here is a link to the results...
Who has a (only) 2013 with heat/shock/steering problems
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/poll.php?pollid=148&do=showresults
Who does not have problems with their 2013 Spyder
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/poll.php?pollid=149&do=showresults

These results are not accurate but they are an indication that implies the RS and the RS-S don't seem to have those same problems.

I have an RS and I feel it has less of a heat problem than my 2009 RS had, but I have ridden it very little because I got it just before the bad weather here rolled in.
