• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dismantling the rear wheel.

Right then you tech johnnies, got the rear wheel off (eventually) now I am dismantling it to get it coated.

I have got all of the bolts out but the disc is solid, am I missing something or is it corroded in?

Similarly I have all the bolts out of the wheel boss spacer thing and it won't come out same thing?

I have checked the drawings and I have removed all of the items I am meant to.....

Well miffed! :dontknow:

The brake rotor needs a lot of playing with to get off. You have to rock is back and forth and walk it up a little at a time.

Or. Use a puller. The compensator bowl that holds the drive pulley is tight, but will come off. Use a bearing puller on the wheel bearings. Remove tire, valve stem, wheel weights. Comes right apart.

Great stuff, thanks for that, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything after the 5 disc securing bolts have been whipped out, I am assuming this is the case for removing the hub too, as I have the nuts and bolts off, but the bugger is still solid...

This corrosion is turning a simple job into an epic quest!!
