• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

discussion over a new engine for the spyder

I hope not! Zero to 60 mph in 11 seconds is a big performance hit.

scotty ?? read it a second time - its a revolution !!
107 ft-lbs by 1900 rpm ..

with the right gearbox and the weight of our spyder (30% of the car) it would be really much faster than that..
and you will see a lot of handmade bikes/trikes and ATV´s in the future with this engine (price/spareparts aso..)
maybe someone builds it in our spyder also
the spyder would need 20-30% less fuel than now ..

(chrysler is now a part of the fiat/ferrari/alfa group )

It's a low-end torque monster, but in the end, it isn't moving that little car very fast. I guess the proof would be in the end application. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Wouldn't want it in my bike. That kind of power curve won't do it for me. I want top end, not just initial low-end thrill. sure it starts out OK (and not really; 0-60 in 11 seconds? That is not impressive by anyone's stansdards) but then just flattens out. The motor has no pop. With all due respect, no thanks!
