There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

I didn't do anything dang thing with the Spyder today.
I've got the flu, and I can't remember ever feeling this rough before. My poor wife has had it for 2 weeks. I was really concerned about her. Poor thing had it worse than me I think.
Severe headache, severe body aches, sick to my stomach and no appetite, coughing, chests on fire, my whole head and my jaws ache something fierce. We're both 67 so I'm a bit concerned about that plus I've only got one lung from a military mishap that almost boxed me. In fact they flew my wife to the country of Panama to say goodbye to me. Intensive care for 60 days. So I have to keep that in mind.
We both have had covid twice so far. Not sure what this crud is but it ain't right.

I've had the sneer before when I park my jeep in the handicap spot with my disabled Veteran plate. Screw em! If they only knew the level of injuries and pain I'm normally in. 100% DAV and Damn proud of it. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. When you're still awake and you watch the Army Surgeon cut your chest open and stick his gloved hand in your chest cavity, you just don't get over it easily. Oh well.

Besides, people should realise that not all 'disabilities' are obvious &/or outwardly visible, nor, as you rightly pointed out, how much difficulty & pain a person might be in, even if they might 'look' to them as being perfectly fine as they climb out of or off whatever form of transportation they might use! I don't call my Spyder my 'High Speed Mobility Scooter' for nothing!
Ps: I do hope you'n your Missus get over that flu soon! There've been a few bad strains of that going around lately, some particularly nasty! So Get Well Soon, OK!

It appears that in Michigan you may have one plate and one hanging placard. Renewal required every four years on your birthday.

We went to urgent care, and we have the type A flu. They ordered all kinds of get better stuff for us. Hopefully will get some sleep and relief. It's a bad flu.

I've noticed over the years that it seems those with greater disabilities seem to be more resolved than those with less debilitating issues. Sadly a local incident took a bad turn when two individuals took an incident further than necessary. According to witnesses, two disabled old farts got into a pushing/shoving match over a DV parking spot and one of them slipped and fell hitting his head on the pavement and died as a result. No charges were ever filed.

I'm 60% better this morning. Thank the Lord. I was able to eat breakfast and also go out in the snow to fill the Bird feeders.
