• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dirty Spyder

The good news is that I hit the road several times in the last few days. I did not go far but I was out. I finally was able to go to Blackmans and get my first service completed as well as the 2013-9 warranty work. I was going to wash the :spyder2: today and then pull the :spyder2: in and detail it. I thought about it for a little while and said screw it! I have to go through my mini mud bog to get to & from my house to the paved road at least until the snow melts and it warms a little more.

I thought mine was dirty but, seeing what you have to go through I feel much better.:yikes: I have heated clothing and kept the Spyder going most of the winter. The Spyder is a mess.

Washed Mine

Since it was a nice day here in PA yesterday , I washed mine for the last time. Next Saturday in goes to Don's for the final time. Someone will be getting a good bike when they buy her.....:(

It is not just my driveway, snow melt running across the roads and POTHOLES! Icy patches this morning heading out for breakfast and the temps did not go below freezing last night. Need to be on your "A" game this time of year!

So far so good

If the pot holes don't get you the gravel will.

Bob

Missed all the big holes and no issues with the gravel. Have to watch the cinders on the corners. Has not snowed here in more than a week, so most of the cinders put down by the plow trucks have been blown off the roads by the cars.

Could not take it

She is washed and ready to hit the mud driveway on Monday. Supposed to be warm here Monday & Tuesday before the next cold front. I will have to get out after work while we can.

Mine is very, very shiny. It has like a billion coats of wax. Even the springs are shiny.

I keep it this way by only driving it in the living room. The wife is a little annoyed, but...what can you do?

If this "White Plague" continues; I'm buying an R/C Spyder to pass the time! :gaah:
